Thanks to its significant expansion plan underway, My One Hotel, the Italian hotel chain led by Paolo Ceci, will soon be able to offer 2,500 rooms and 4,000 beds, making it an important player in Italy's accommodation industry. The group has just opened the brand new My One Hotel in Bologna. It has 103 rooms, and is located a few kilometres from the airport and near the motorway tollbooth of Borgo Panigale.
In December, it will inaugurate the My One Hotel in Canazei, in the Trentino region (Dolomites), while two new openings in Milan are scheduled for 2009: the My One Hotel Milano Malpensa, with 220 rooms, and the My One Hotel Milano Fiera, located at the entrance to the new trade fair area, also with 220 rooms.
It has also signed an agreement with Ambroveneto Merchant to acquire further properties in Emilia, Tuscany, Veneto and Piedmont regions to significantly increase its presence in the sector of business travel, especially in North Italy. Furthermore, the company is working on the acquisition of the management of a 500-room hotel rooms in Dubai, located in Downtown Jebel Ali, near the new Jabel Ali Airport City.
