The company now runs five venues in the city for 5,000 conference seats

Thanks to an agreement with the local authority, Bologna Congressi has taken over the management of the building that until last year housed the Gallery of Modern Art, which is publicly owned.
This development springs from the public administration’s recognition of the important role the company has played in the city’s growth, with more than 350 events hosted at the four venues it already manages (Palazzo dei Congressi, Palazzo Re Enzo, Aula Magna di Santa Lucia, Europauditorium), attended by 270,000 participants.
Bologna Congressi provides venues, facilities and services, as well as running projects such as the Ambassador Programme, which, through an agreement with the Policlinico Sant’Orsola-Malpighi (Bologna’s main hospital), is intended to promote Bologna as a destination for international conferences by capitalising on the professionalism and excellence of the city’s scientific community.
