The 4-star property on Lake Garda has become part of the Summit Hotels & Resorts network

“For the whole of 2008, we are proposing the Budget Meeting package, a formula devised for meetings for between 20 and 200 people”, explains Giorgio Robustelli, sales & marketing manager of the resort in Riva del Garda, a picturesque town in the extreme north of the lake. “With prices from EUR 94 per person in a double room and EUR 114 in a single room, it includes overnight stay, buffet breakfast and equipped meeting room. Coffee breaks, lunches and dinners can be added on request”.
Furthermore, at the beginning 2008, the property, which in the last few months hosted one of the two crews of the new James Bond film (shot on Lake Garda), became part of the Summit Hotels & Resorts network, which includes a total of more than 450 hotels worldwide. “This will give us further visibility, especially in the eyes of international meeting planners”, Robustelli continues.
The resort has a conference centre of six rooms with capacities of between 20 and 250, and a reception room that can accommodate 400 people. It also boasts a large park that provides an ideal location for receptions, exhibitions and team-building activities. “It abounds in palms, age-old and exotic trees, swimming pools and waterways, and recently provided the backdrop to the 150th anniversary celebrations of an international ship management company”, says Robustelli. “In partnership with the Roman team-building agency TWT Team, we organised a sea-themed convention. The park was transformed into an island, and the more than 100 participants took on the guise of fierce pirates. They were divided into teams for a treasure hunt that tested both mind and body: they built tools and a bridge able to bear the weight of the entire crew, and they climbed over obstacles. It was a real success”.
