Naples’ largest conference hotel upgrades its services and facilities, and targets all-inclusive rates for the corporate market.

Just a year after opening, the 4-star Tiberio Palace Hotel & Conference Center in Naples is upgrading its facilities. In January, this huge complex, which is spread over an area of 35,000 sqm and created by the restoration of a former industrial area, opened an elegant 800 sqm spa & beauty centre with indoor pool, relaxation and fitness zones, sauna, Turkish bath and four massage booths.
“Our hotel is a real city resort, set in a Mediterranean garden and located in Naples’ business district, a stone’s throw from the offices of Italian and international companies” says general manager Domenico De Simone.
The Tiberio Palace Hotel & Conference Center has also the largest and best-equipped hotel conference centre in the city: spread over an area of 4,000 sqm, it has 25 multi-functional meeting rooms, all with natural light and an overall capacity of 3,500 seats. The plenary Grand Ballroom Giulia, which can be divided into three, can welcome up to 1,000 delegates and because it is six metres high, can also be used for events that require special staging.
“Thanks to an intense marketing campaign before we opened, already in the first year, we managed to make ourselves known among companies, including Deutsche Bank, Unicredit, Fiat, Motorola, Siemens, and international institutions”, explains director of sales & marketing Annarita Aprea. “In June, we are hosting a three-day conference for the European Parliament, for which 500 delegates are expected”.
The hotel can also take care of all aspects of organising an event, from pick-up at the airport to post-conference activities ranging from excursions on the nearby islands to themed dinners. “From September, we plan to offer an all-inclusive formula tailored to the corporate market: it will include every service required, which of course will be totally customized”, De Simone concludes.
