Como’s historic water airport, founded in 1930, is the last of its kind in operation in Italy today, and is also a seaplane flying school. As well as short- and medium-haul flights to destinations in Europe and the Mediterranean, it provides visitors with an opportunity to admire the breathtaking views of Lake Como from above. The events market can now make use of the 2,200 sqm square hangar (with a 10-metre high ceiling for the installation of lighting equipment), and an outside area of the same size, which upon request can exhibit seaplanes, including some historic models. During events, the AeroClub offers guests flights over Lake Como and the sorrunding mountains. The club is also just a few minutes’ walk from hotels, restaurants, villas and historic monuments, as well as the cable car to Brunate and the boat docking stations.
Expert staff are on hand to support agencies in all aspects of event organisation, while corporate event managers receive an all-round service, which includes logistics management and staging.
