The 4-star hotel set in a 16th century villa in the Roman Castles area, 20 km from the city, is an increasingly popular venue for incentive and team-building activities

“Over the last year, we have seen a definite upturn in bookings for this type of programmes”, general manager Francesco Ceribelli explains. “They choose us because of what sets us apart: first, the exclusivity of the hotel, situated in a cardinal’s villa dating back to the 16th century, adorned with frescoed halls and immersed in an age-old 15,000 sqm park, with lawns and woods that make it ideal for various outdoor activities; our location provides more added value, offering a spectacular view over the Eternal City, just 20 km away. Lastly, we have a 220-cover gourmet restaurant, which in the summer can accommodate up to 400 diners in the open-air terrace”.
In 2007, incentive events included a classic car tour of some of the historic residences scattered around the region, with the hotel serving as departure point, rest top and final destination.
“Another great success was an event organised for a group of managers from a leading international company: We prepared a real movie set with period costumes, which the participants used to independently produce a short film”. Alongside meetings and conferences, the hotel offers wine-tasting, both within its walls and at the numerous wineries of the region, while during the off-season, it runs cookery and pizza-making courses. Villa Grazioli is also available for exclusive hire”.
