This stunning villa has always been a retreat of the international jet. It is one of Sicily’s most famous hotels, built by the powerful Florio family at the end of the 19th century, and designed by Ernesto Basile, a master of Italy’s Art Nouveau.
The hotel has preserved its original decoration and furnishings; it has 109 rooms, three meeting rooms, a restaurant that serves traditional Mediterranean cuisine, a large, jasmine-scented park, with a swimming pool perched on the cliff edge overlooking the sea and a tennis court.
Until the end of March, the Villa Igiea Hilton Palermo offers two meeting packages: Standard (EUR 59 per person per day) and Plus (EUR 69 per person per day).
The rates include meeting room hire with basic audio-visual equipment, a welcome coffee, a coffee break (Standard package) or two coffee breaks (Plus package), a buffet business lunch or a three-course meal including drinks.
Single-occupancy double rooms cost EUR 175 per night. A luxury room with sea view is EUR 225.
