| The Palace Hotel Relais Falisco opens its doors to the automotive industry |
|
|
Thanks to its proximity to the Vallelunga race track, this hotel, set in a 17th century building in a village 40 km from Rome, has been graced by many automotive companies. After the test drives, they take their guests to play golf or enjoy team building exercises on the lakes.

This year has been a very positive one for the Palace Hotel Relais Falisco, an elegant hotel with a classical feel in the historic centre of Civita Castellana, an old village located 40 km north of Rome in a region full of lakes and historic residences.
“In 2007 we saw a considerable rise in bookings, mainly thanks to the expansion of the Vallelunga race track, now one of the largest in Italy, where the leading international car makers organise test drives and product launches”, explains Nicole Berruet, manager of the Palace Hotel Relais Falisco. “The track is just 27 km from the hotel, and we have established a kind of partnership with it: we apply preferential rates for bookings relating to events held at Vallelunga. Very often, our conference centre plays host to the technical presentation that accompanies the test drive at Vallelunga or on the roads that skirt around the lakes of Bracciano and Bolsena, which are also very close by”. |

Relais Falisco is located around 80 km from both Rome Fiumicino and Rome Ciampino airports, and around 60 km from the city itself. It has 43 rooms, three naturally-lit meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate 70 people. The hotel provides bed & breakfast, although nine restaurants are located nearby, including La Scuderia in the same building.

The Palace Hotel Relais Falisco has 43 rooms, and is housed in an elegant 17th century building, with the conference centre located in the former barn on the first floor, and the fitness centre in the old cellars, with a jacuzzi and sauna set in an Etruscan cave.
“We are also just 21 km from Le Querce 18-hole golf course, which is technically considered to be one of the top ten in Europe, and 20 km from the Lake Vico nature reserve, where local DMCs organise numerous team building activities, including off-road excursions, quad biking, canoeing and sailing, canyoning, mountain bike orienteering, horse riding and rope bridge and cableway challenges”, Nicole Berruet continues. “Our hotel is an excellent starting point from which to visit magnificent historic gardens, such as those of Palazzo Ruspoli in Vignanello and Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola, masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance, both around 20 km away”.
