The UK motorcycle manufacturer held the international press preview for its new model here, using the large park to exhibit the vehicles.
 
Riva del Garda, a picturesque little town on the northern shore of Lake Garda, is home to the Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort, which has recently racked up a number of international events. “Although ours is prevalently a leisure hotel, thanks to the recent opening of another 67 new guestrooms, the 45 suites in the Murialdo Suites block and the 22 apartments over at La Villa, in addition to the Hotel Du Lac’s existing 159 guestrooms, the Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort is now the perfect venue for hosting conferences and events for larger international companies,” comments Sales & Marketing manager, Giorgio Robustelli.
For instance, the worldwide press preview of the new Triumph motorcycle. “In July the legendary British company decided to invite 50 journalists here to present its new road model, the Street Triple” continues Robustelli. “Each journalist stayed with us for 2-3 days, during which they not only observed the bike’s technical features, but they were also able to test-ride it on a 100-kilometre circuit along the mountain roads of the Trentino Alto Adige region. In all, the event lasted two weeks, with the journalists coming and going, and of course they brought technical staff too. Our seven-hectare park of ancient trees was a natural showcase for the motorbikes, and we held the multimedia presentation in the conference centre”.
The resort had already hosted events linked to the two and four-wheeled universe, including the launches of new Porsche, Mercedes and Renault models. An important point to remember: the resort has its own events and conference organisation office operating as a DMC, offering pre and post-conference cultural, sports and team building activities.
