The Rome hotel upgraded to 4-star level last summer. In recent months, rooms have been renovated and plans for the future include a spa.

Good news for Rome’s Hotel degli Imperatori, which opened in 2000, and in summer 2007 was upgraded from three to 4 stars. “This improved grade reflects the hotel’s new focus, with the acquisition of international agencies and hence having to meet the needs of a wider clientele” says general manager Laura Munalli. “The 43 guestrooms have been refurbished and the meeting rooms are well-appointed. We are also working on adding a spa, in the basement area.”
Hotel degli Imperatori is in the east of Rome, off the GRA ring road and 10km from the city centre. The area is also home to several large companies and the hotel is frequently a venue for corporate meetings and events. A number of leading Italian and international automotive industries have used the venue for their conferences. “We’ve also hosted fashion shows for cosmetics companies, pharmaceutical company training courses, road shows and management courses for large companies in the energy sector,” adds Munalli. “Our ethnic-style restaurant, Il Condottiero, opened in 2005 and is an exclusive location for gala dinners and working lunches for up to 80 guests. We have an entry for 2007 in the prestigious Veronelli restaurant guide and, from January 2008, we will also be hosting oenology courses and events for the Italian wine-tasters association”.
