Tenuta dei Ciclamini increases accommodation capacity
The estate in the Umbrian countryside is opening new rooms and expanding its music-themed activities for groups by making use of its professional recording studios

Tenuta dei Ciclamini, the 4-star estate set in the Umbrian countryside surrounded by woods, meadows, hills and lakes, is currently expanding its accommodation capacity. The complex comprises a series of houses and towers that form a medieval hamlet around a large central garden, which can be used for open-air events, cocktails and receptions.

From September it will have 15 new guestrooms, in addition to the current 54. “We are also building a small church to host weddings, and a new meeting room with a capacity of 300,” says general manager Daniela Gimmelli.

A special feature of the complex is that it has a professional recording studio run by CET, the school for musicians, writers and singers founded by Mogol, one of the leading names of Italy’s music scene. “An extraordinary resource that we offer corporate groups, both for entertainment and team-building purposes”, explains Gimmelli. “The guests, accompanied by professional musicians, record a professional CD, with the company logo emblazoned on the cover, something everyone enjoys”.

The theme of music runs through the whole estate: 14 guestrooms contain a piano, and events are always accompanied by music. “We have just hosted a small prestigious incentive experience for 45 top international clients of publishing group Il Sole 24 Ore. They enjoyed dinner al fresco among the olive trees and at our stables, a beautiful setting with the staff on horseback and an ensemble playing in the background”.

Tenuta dei Ciclamini also boasts two outdoor camp sites equipped for team building acitivities. “Creativity is our watchword, and has enabled us to build a loyal customer base including BMW, Adidas, Nissan and Microsoft,” she concludes.
