Excellent results for the Hilton Garden Inn Florence Novoli
Only five months on from its opening, the hotel, which sits in a park in the new district of Novoli in northern Florence, has already turned much of the business clientele drawn towards the area into loyal customers.




“We are pleased that within a few months, we have become one of the first ports of call for the large companies in the area and the international business travellers they bring in”, says a happy Carlo Borghigiani, cluster manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Florence Novoli. “Our objective is to identify business zones with the same potential as Novoli in other Italian cities and see if the conditions are in place to develop other Garden Inns”.

The brand new 4-star hotel enjoys a strategic position, a few minutes’ from Florence’s historic centre and only three kilometres from the international airport.
In its design, the 121-room hotel put the needs of business clients at the top of the agenda offering, for example, free wi-fi connection in the communal areas or the Pavilion Pantry, a small shop typical of the Garden Inn brand open 24 hours a day selling snacks, ready meals and travel items.

The Hilton Garden Inn Florence Novoli has 121 rooms, all equipped with air conditioning with autonomous controls, LCD screens, three telephones with answer-phone and dataport, free high-speed internet access and the possibility to print from the room directly to the hotel's business centre, which is open 24 hours a day.

The naturally-lit meeting room can accommodate 150 people, and can be divided into two rooms each with a capacity of 60. The hotel also has a boardroom with 18 seats, a bar, a restaurant, a fitness centre and an underground garage for 100 cars.

The philosophy of comfort
“We are convinced that people work better if they are staying in spacious, well-lit and comfortable surroundings”, Borghigiani continues. Hence, the rooms, all furnished in a warm contemporary style, have large, bright areas dedicated to comfort, and, to ensure the guests have a really good night’s sleep, special mattresses with the Garden Sleep System, which uses a valve system to automatically adjust the consistency of the mattress.

“Another jewel in the crown of the Garden Inn Florence Novoli is the business centre”, says Borghigiani. “A small, extremely well-equipped office where our guests have all they need to work in peace”.
