The Saurus Hotel extends its services with the introduction of wi-fi
This small design hotel, opened a year and a half ago in Altamura, is mainly used by business travellers, but also offers meeting and incentive clients programmes that reveal the more authentic side of Apulia.

The new Saurus Hotel is a small 4-star jewel 40 km from Bari, the capital of Puglia, and its airport. Its attention to detail is evident in the furnishings, equipment and service. The hotel is located in Altamura, in the hinterland scattered with olive trees, famous for its cathedral and traditional bread, which remains fresh for several days. The headquarters of some large Italian companies, including leaders in the agribusiness and in furnishings, such as the Natuzzi group, are very close by and generate a constant flow of business travellers.

The 33 rooms of the Saurus Hotel are therefore a precious commodity, especially since they are equipped with wi-fi – in all rooms by the end of the year, it has also just been introduced in the 90-seater meeting room and communal areas – satellite tv, and hydromassage shower or bath. Gastronomy, though, is where the hotel really excels: the 120-cover restaurant not only serves regional dishes that have now become part of Italy’s culinary pantheon, but on request, guests can also see how products such as mozzarella are made by the experts.
