The new UNA Hotel Napoli is Florentine chain UNA Hotels’ second hotel in southern Italy. It is an historic six-storey building in Piazza Garibaldi, opposite the railway station, and has been carefully restored to its former 19th century glory.
Inside, the hotel has 89 modern and comfortable rooms, and recalls Neapolitan traditions, from the stucco work, exposed tuff, Pompeian red and images of Punch. The sixth floor of the building houses the terrace, the 140-seater restaurant and the American bar, built within a structure containing large skylights.
The part of the terrace with a view of Vesuvius is partly covered by a metal sail that provides a distinctive feature for the building, and is used for cocktails, lunches and working dinners.
