A new conference centre has been opened in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the famous tourist and ski resort of the eastern Alps. The Alexander Girardi Hall is a multipurpose, modular venue that can be used as a conference room, cinema, theatre or auditorium, seating a maximum of 630 people.
It boasts a large exhibition space, press room, registration area and cloakroom, as well as some smaller spaces for board meetings.
Cortina d’Ampezzo has five conference and event venues, and eight hotels with meeting rooms, totalling 27 conference rooms and a capacity of more than 4,000 seats. The town provides a backdrop to a variety of incentive programmes and team-building activities, and its 40 hotels offer a total of 3,500 beds.
